The SW Coast Path runs through the village and, for the fit, weaves its way through dramatic terrain in both directions along the cliffs and down to the water's edge. The picturesque village of Boscastle, with its charming quay and local bars for refreshment, lies 2.5 miles north along the walk. The surfing hotspots of Newquay and Bude are further away, along with associated resort attractions, but Bodmin Moor, the Eden Project, Padstow, Camel Estuary, and Port Isaac are all accessible within a car journey away.
