About this property

Tintagel 1.9 miles. Resting within an elevated position on the outskirts of Trebarwith Strand near Tintagel, Cornwall, is Tides Reach, a fabulous three-bedroom property. Enjoying far-reaching sea views and a convenient proximity to the beach and a host of breath-taking coastal walks and surfing hotspots, the property welcomes six guests and two well-behaved dogs, offering flexible sleeping and living arrangements. Park up on the private driveway, making your way up to the main house, before entering the living/dining space featuring an abundance of plush seating, a TV with Freeview and Netflix, a woodburning stove, and a balcony offering elevated sea views; be wowed by this social space, where you can gather, relax, and enjoy meals together. Venture into the well-equipped kitchen and utility, where you'll find all expected appliances, before discovering the multi-level garden, also ideal for alfresco dining. Heading upstairs, locate two well-presented bedrooms, including a king-size and twin, serviced by a bathroom and a ground-floor shower room for convenience, whilst the third bedroom is located in the external annexe, featuring a king-size bed, sofa, and en-suite shower room. Come morning, enjoy a coffee on the balcony before venturing to Trebarwith Beach, or Backways Cove, or perhaps a hike across Trebarwith CWT Reserve. Tintagel is a popular village to visit, just a short journey away, with the chance to climb up Glebe Cliff, tour the ruins of Tintagel Castle, or stroll alongside the stunning turquoise waters at Merlin's Cave. Reaching Wadebridge, join the Camel Trail across the county, possible to follow by foot or by bike, ahead of touring Wadebridge and District Museum, or visiting Pencarrow House & Garden, a Grade II listed country house, rich in heritage. Experience all of this at Tides Reach.

Tintagel is a well-liked but not overrun tourist site and the location of the fabled King Arthur's Castle, whose ruins dominate the cliffside just beyond the settlement. The water, rocky coves, and breath-taking views dominate the area around. Surfing is the main draw for people who enjoy the water, and there are several beaches nearby, including Trebarwith Strand and Bossiney Cove. The Old Post Office (National Trust) and other establishments like taverns and restaurants can be found in Tintagel. The SW Coast Path runs through the village and, for the fit, weaves its way through dramatic terrain in both directions along the cliffs and down to the water's edge. The picturesque village of Boscastle, with its charming quay and local bars for refreshment, lies 2.5 miles north along the walk. The surfing hotspots of Newquay and Bude are further away, along with associated resort attractions, but Bodmin Moor, the Eden Project, Padstow, Camel Estuary, and Port Isaac are all accessible within a car journey away.

Bathrooms need updating, curtains look so old and could be replaced with blinds, the sofa and cushions also look tired.

Just a minute walk to beach, great cafe and pub with coastal views. Having the off street parking is also awesome. The property is spacious (there was 2 adults and 3 children), all you need inside the property and large balcony with views down to the beach. Would highly recommend.

We had one small issue with a water leak which the house keeper resolved for us promptly. We’d definitely come back.
