Nestled close to the all year dog friendly beach which enjoys stunning sea views to Looe island and Rame Head, this wonderful holiday home is in the most fabulous location for fun-filled family holidays. The property allows some flexibility of twin or double beds on request. All on a ground floor, with wheel chair access so ideal for those with mobility issues. The open plan living space features good-sized kitchen and living areas with the addition of a sofa bed the property accommodates up to eight guests. There is room to store bikes or beach equipment, and an outside hose for dog washing.
There is a safe life-guarded sandy beach and children’s play area and rock pooling further down the beach. The surfers come out when the water is right and there are body boards in the house. The lovely linked villages of Seaton and Downderry feature restaurants, pubs, beach cafe, coffee shop and a small shop all within 1.5 miles. Tredinnick farm shop and restaurant are a short drive away, with the area offering a range of supermarkets which also deliver. Ramblers will enjoy the scenic coastal footpath leading to the charming fishing ports and villages with quays, Looe is within easy reach as is Porwrinkle. For a gentle walk take the bus to Hessenford and stroll along the river through the beautiful valley and woodland heading back towards Seaton. By car you can easily access the Eden project and many coastal villages like Kingsand and Cawsand, where you can take a ferry to Plymouth for the day. Scenic Polperro is an enchanting village with quaint, traffic-free lanes and a fishing harbour surrounded with traditional inns and fisherman’s cottages. As one of the most easily accessed parts of Cornwall, you can usually expect to be on the beach just an hour after the Exeter M5 junction 31. A lovely place to stay. Clean and tidy, wiith plenty of room for all. Mark was in contact and very helpful. Lovely outside seating areas with sun loungers, only a short walk to the beach and pub and restaurant.A little further down the beach there is a shop and snack bar over looking the beach and another pub. Not far from many attractions. Would definitely stay here again.

The good points- Great locationThe bad points- The house is tired and in desperate need of some TLC and some money being spent on it. The floor is on a slope, so much so the floorboards in the kitchen are pulling apart. The roof in the sunroom leaks when it rains. The outside table is unusable. I can only assume that Cottages.com who are the agents for this property do not carry out any checks to ensure the property is up to a certain standard.
