The village used to be famous for smuggling rum from Portwrinkle Harbour, a nearby coastal village where you can visit Whitsand Bay, a popular Cornish attraction. Other villages and towns worth visiting include Millbrook, Downderry, Looe, Antony, and the city of Plymouth. Crafthole is a peaceful base to discover the fantastic Cornish coast.
