Nan-Tis is a characterful cottage praised for its tranquil setting, spacious garden, and proximity to local attractions. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and the cottage's suitability for both pets and children. The presence of friendly neighbours and a responsive host adds to the positive experience.
The cottage is consistently described as clean, with specific mentions of clean bathrooms. No negative comments about cleanliness suggest a high standard is maintained.
The location is well-regarded for its peaceful rural setting, proximity to pubs, and ease of access to nearby towns and beaches. The lack of a village shop is noted, but not seen as a significant drawback.
Comfort is highlighted with mentions of comfortable beds and a cosy atmosphere, especially with the wood burner. However, one comment about a lumpy mattress cover suggests there may be room for improvement in some areas.
While the cottage is praised for being well-equipped, there are minor issues such as the lack of a visitor information book and unclear instructions for waste disposal. The absence of a food composter and a sharp knife are also noted. Due to these mixed comments, a definitive score cannot be provided.
Guests mention thoughtful touches like the provision of spades, buckets, and body boards for the beach, as well as milk and biscuits on arrival. However, as these gifts are not guaranteed for every stay, they are a delightful bonus rather than an expectation.

We had a lovely 4 night stay here at Nan Tis.The cottage is in a lovely setting with a fantastuc wrap around garden. We slept in the ground floor bedroom which was comfortable at this time of year using the heater at times. However the mattress covers were very badly fitting which led to quite a lumpy, uncomfortable sleep. The kitchen was well equipped but make sure you set the oven clock to the correct time or else it won't switch on .Sadly, we couldn't locate a visitor information book or folder so no info about the cottage, waate collection, where to place any dog waste ( we took it away with us & disposed of it in dog waste bin elswhere ), local amenities ior emergency numbers..A lovely cottage, milk, biscuits & log burner fuel much appreciated. Owner very helpful & friendly.Thank you.

We had a lovely holiday at Nan-Tis. We enjoyed exploring the local area and cosy evenings with a fire. The cottage was full of character and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
