With its vast expanse of sand and excellent surf, there is plenty to explore at Polzeath. The beach itself is home to two surf schools and you can also find equipment hire, lessons and practical beach-side advice. Polzeath is also home to many animated cafes and culinary hotspots for those looking to get a slice of the action. For retail lovers, there are a great selection of shops, as well as two grocery stores for picking up those holiday essentials.

We had such a lovely Christmas at The Summerhouse! There were Christmas decorations and some extra festive treats - quite unexpected and much appreciated. The house was spacious yet warm and cosy for ten of us. The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of tableware, glasses etc. Thank you.

We have stayed in The Summerhouse before, so knew it would be the ideal location for a long awaited meet up with good friends - some keen golfers! As well as being able to have en-suite bedrooms for every couple there was ample space to relax and chat. The close vicinity to both the golf course and the beach, is a real asset. We all enjoyed visiting some excellent local restaurants, as well as cooking in the well-appointed kitchen and using the BBQ at the house. All in all, everyone enjoyed a relaxing and fun time together.
