Axminster is a small market town in the English counties of Devon and Dorset, just a few miles inland from the Jurassic Coast and within driving distance of the quaint seaside towns of Lyme Regis, Charmouth, Seaton, and Beer. Axminster has been known as the "carpet capital of the world" for over 250 years. The town is home to the Axe Valley Wildlife Park, the Axminster Heritage Centre, and the Flamingo swimming pool, among other tourist attractions.
