Ash Cottage is an elegant property just a 10 minute stroll from the heart of Beer with it’s galleries, cafes, pubs and beach.
Accommodation is beautifully presented with some lovely touches including local artwork and seascape photographs. The comfortable sitting room has soft sofas and there’s a well equipped contemporary kitchen. The two bedrooms have high end furnishings perfect for four guests. We love the Mediterranean style garden with its terracotta flower pots and garden furniture - a great place to relax and enjoy a little alfresco dining! Ash Cottage is a lovely family holiday home in a quieter location within walking distance of all amenities.
Beer is a traditional fishing village in a sheltered bay on the beautiful east Devon World Heritage Jurassic Coast. The port dates back to the 15th century and is charming with its beach huts and colourful boats washed up on the shingle. Stroll around the independent shops, galleries and cafes, take a walk along the dramatic cliff hugging coastal path to Branscombe beach. Branscombe has a couple of good pubs and a dog-friendly beach with a great cafe serving fresh seafood. Take a fishing trip or delve into Beer Quarry Caves, just a short drive away.
