About this property

In Branscombe, one of the prettiest villages on the south coast, with a picturesque, gentle walk to the beach, less than ½ mile long, providing ample car parking, via the road. A popular pub and restaurant is yards away and there is an excellent beach cafe with a small shop, open all summer and four days a week during the winter months. From the private drive a gentle slope leads to tiled steps and a little landing with a table and chairs. A country kitchen and dining area, full of light with a big picture window and lovely rural views is a lovely space to get together and plan your days adventures. There are three bedrooms, a double and two snug twins sharing a family bathroom (suite, shower over bath with pressure flow controlled power shower) . The beach and pubs are an easy stroll from this handy heart-of-village location. Why not spend a day by the sea before eating out at the Masons Arms? The Regency seaside town of Sidmouth is just three miles away, or for budding fossil hunters, Lyme Regis on the famous 'Jurassic' coast with its iconic Cobb is just 10 miles away. With beautiful surroundings and close to the sea, 2 Smugglers Close is a perfect choice for a memorable family holiday.

Beer is a small picturesque fishing village on the south Devon coast near Seaton. The shingle beach is very sheltered, backed by limestone cliffs and was once fertile smuggling territory, plus contraband was hidden in nearby caves, which are now a popular tourist attraction
