We had an amazing week in East Devon. The location on a farm took me back to my childhood holidays and my Grandson loved it also. It is well situated for Sidmouth, Seaton, Honiton, Charmouth and Lyme Regis and other areas. A Donkey sanctuary is close by. Giles the owner greeted us on arrival and on leaving. The Barn was lovely with plenty of room for 3 generations to gather. Theo loved the games room, the garden and Rio the sheepdog who greeted us every day. I would recommend if you love the countryside and want a lovely quiet retreat after a day exploring.

Bucknole is a fabulous barn conversion,it is beautifully laid out without clutter and unnecessary pieces of furniture. The three bathrooms make life easy. Bucknole is slightly off the beaten track, but that means it is tranquil and you won’t be bothered by any form of traffic or any other intrusion, the nights are totally dark with no ugly street lights. All in all a lovely place to relax.

Good size accommodation in a very peaceful area. About 20 minutes to most local beaches and 5 minutes to Honiton Golf Club. Honiton is a nicer town than we expected. Very narrow lanes so always best to head North towards Honiton even if heading to the beach and pick up the bigger roads, longer but often quicker. Nice walks around the farm area.
