Estuary Court in Exmouth boasts an excellent location with stunning views and easy access to local amenities, making it a well-loved choice for its position and the comfort of feeling at home. While some guests have highlighted the need for a deep clean and updates to furniture and fixtures, others have praised its well-equipped nature and spaciousness, suggesting a potential for a truly exceptional stay with attention to cleanliness and maintenance.
Several reviews indicate that cleanliness is a significant issue, with reports of long-term grime, dirty kitchen and appliances, and a general need for a deep clean. This suggests that cleanliness is below average, impacting the overall experience.
The location is consistently praised for its beautiful views, proximity to the beach, marina, cafes, and shops. It is described as ideal and excellent, indicating a high level of satisfaction among guests.
Comfort receives mixed reviews. While some guests find the property well-equipped and comfortable, others mention uncomfortable beds and furniture that needs replacing, indicating an average level of comfort.
Facilities are well-regarded in terms of equipment provided, but there are several mentions of items needing repair or replacement, such as kitchen units, dining chairs, and patio furniture. The property is seen as well-equipped but requires maintenance.
While there is a mention of a small bunch of flowers brought around, there is insufficient information to assess the overall thoughtfulness of the host consistently across reviews. Therefore, it is not possible to provide a score, and guests should note that such gestures are not guaranteed.

The bathrooms were clean., I could not say the same for the kitchen. I ended up washing windows which were dirty and covered in places by seagull poo., cleaning out 2 cutlery drawers , taking down cobwebs in the kitchen and living room and generally wiping all surfaces in the kitchen, This was easily a day of my holiday. One curtain pole fell on my Partner‘s head. The drawers were crammed in the kitchen and dirty. The single beds in the twin bed room were problematic in that one of them slopes at an angle and so the sleeper had to put the mattress it on the floor. One of our guests tried to get into the bunkbed and it almost tipped on her. Many of the chairs needed Allum keys to stabilise them, they were uneven and wobbly. The microwave was a health and safety risk. I did report this immediately and by the next day the landlady had brought us a new one. and left me a bunch of flowers. this was rather too late for all the things we found problematic. On the positive side, it is a very well situated house and potentially very comfortable.. other customers were more positive and are returning..However. I feel a major maintenance and repair job is required.. crammed cupboards need organising so that visitors can put stuff away. There was enough storage in the bedrooms. The bed linen was a reasonable quality but our duvet cover did smell stale as if it had been put away slightly damp . The cleaner was not available, but apparently she had left messages with the owner and company to say she would be on holiday. I would also suggest, that the house is too big for the cleaner to organise ready for the next tenants coming in. six hours later.. Nnone of the maintenance jobs could be done in that time,, let alone the Cleaning and preparing the beds. It was my 80th birthday and for my childhood I spent every summer in Shelley Road. It was my way to celebrate with friends my 80th in a place I love very much.I was disappointed, but glad that I’d had one day to clean iand prepare the house for my friends arrival. This is very honest feedback. I am providing it for the owner to take note and put some of these things right in readiness for other visitors..
