Honiton has a lovely Main Street reaching approximately 2 miles, and lined with independently owned stores, taverns, and restaurants. Since Elizabeth I's time, Honiton has been known for its lacemaking, and there are still a few of them working now. Visitors can view some exquisite specimens of old lace at the town's Allhallows Museum. Thelma Hulbert Gallery, located in the charming Grade I-listed Victorian home in Honiton, is the sole public art gallery in East Devon and has connections to the Hayward Gallery in London. Well equipped and very comfortable. Very thoughtful to have minced pies and fresh eggs there there waiting for us. And the hot tub is awesome! Location is ideal for visiting Exeter, Lyme Regis and Sidmouth, which we did. All and all, a great little cottage to spend our anniversary in! Recommended!!!

    Overall brilliant.

So many small touches that made our stay more enjoyable, a lot of thought has gone into kitting the place out with everything you might need. Anna was a lovely host and we'd definitely come back!
