Oak Apple Cottage is praised for its beautiful, tranquil setting and cosy feel, with modern kitchen and bathroom facilities. Guests appreciate the cleanliness, attention to detail, and the helpfulness of the hosts. The rural location offers peace and quiet, with a lovely local pub and towns nearby. Some guests note the narrow staircase and steps in the garden, and the need for a car due to the cottage's seclusion.
Guests consistently mention the high standard of cleanliness throughout the cottage, indicating that it is very well-maintained.
The cottage's peaceful rural setting with beautiful views is highly appreciated, though the need for a car and the distance from amenities are noted.
The cosy feel and beautiful interior are well-liked, but some guests mention the cottage can be dark and cold in parts, and the narrow staircase may affect comfort for some.
The modern kitchen and bathroom are praised, but there is a suggestion for improved recycling facilities. The garden's steps and the steep drive are noted.
While guests speak highly of the hosts' helpfulness and the cottage's attention to detail, there are no specific mentions of gifts, so it is not possible to score thoughtfulness in this context.

Very quiet and peaceful location. Cottage dark and cold in parts. Narrow staircase to upstairs. Kitchen most modern part. Would be good to have 3 part recycling bins in kitchen or just outside cottage.

I found the cottage easy to find. It was in a very beautiful area, looking over the back garden to running coutryside. The cottage was at the back of the main house, and you need to go down some stairs to the cottage front door, and the garden at the back. The gound floor is on three levels, to get to kitchen and bathroom you need to go up and down , off the main living room. And the bedroom is up some would stairs off the bedroom. The cottage was wonderful inside, attention to detail was great, beautiful fireplace, handle on the bathroom door, ponch area, etc. The cottage was very clean, and all parts of the cottage was a high standard, the bathroom and kitchen looked very new. The cottage was not in the village, but the village only a mile and a half away, (about 30 mins walk), great local pub, very busy, and very popular, great food. Honiton was the local town, three good supermarkets, Post Office, etc. And Sidmouth, Seaton were only 30/35 mins drive away.
