Wonkey Donkey Cottage is a bright and spacious two-bedroom holiday home situated within Stoneleigh Holiday Village nearby to the Regency seaside town of Sidmouth. This property is a superb base for a family of four or a group of friends looking to explore the Donkey Sanctuary which is just a couple of minutes walk away and the nearby Weston Beach and South West coastal footpath are within a 20 minute walk.
This single storey self-catered cottage showcases a beautiful open plan kitchen, dining and living area with two sets of patio doors leading out to the patio area. The kitchen is well-equipped and has a large island worktop which takes centre stage in the room. The dining table provides a great space to enjoy a family meal and the living area is comfortably furnished with two sofas and a Smart TV with Freeview. After a busy day exploring the area, step out onto the patio which has bench seating and a parasol. This outdoor space is a real suntrap and it is a great spot for enjoying your morning coffee whilst planning your adventurous day ahead. As the evening draws to a close, drift off to sleep within one of the two well-presented bedrooms which have been furnished with high quality fogarty bedding and mattresses; the first has a kingsize bed and the other has twin beds. The modern family bathroom is fitted with a shower cubicle, bathtub with a shower head attachment, heated towel rail, toilet and sink.

Sidmouth is a beautiful coastal town with a regency feel, ideal for visitors of all ages. Located in the middle of spectacular countryside, it is home to beautiful beaches, stylish places to eat and great local shops. The neighbouring Donkey Sanctuary is open 365 days a year and home to hundreds of donkeys. There are scenic walks, indoor attractions and a new family-friendly restaurant providing a tranquil place to eat and enjoy. The property is also within easy reach of many attractions including the cathedral city of Exeter, Dartmoor National Park, Bicton Park, Crealy Family Adventure Park and World of Country Life at Exmouth. Wonkey Donkey Cottage is a beautifully presented little cottage just a few minutes walk from the wonderful Donkey Sanctuary and a ten minute drive from the lovely seaside town of Sidmouth. We really appreciated the generous welcome pack and dog treats and the charming Christmas decorations. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect location to get away from it all, very serene. Cottage was fully equipped and had lovely decor. Real value for money and literally a 10 minute walk from Sidmouth donkey sanctuary.

We had a great time at the cottage and it is ideally situated for exploring the local and regional area. Donkey sanctuary is right on the doorstep and although the walk to the beach was steep,it was worth it. Cottage had everything you needed, but WiFi wasn't great for streaming TV. Certainly will be staying again !
