The beaches of the coast are on the doorstep with Sidmouth all of a short drive away, you could also head to the Jurassic Coast for a spot of fossil hunting. Dartmoor and Exmoor National Parks are both within a short driving distance and offer miles of natural beauty, rugged grandeur, high moorlands and sheltered valleys.
