Set in the small rural village of Hittisleigh, you are a short drive from the city of Exeter with its famous Gothic cathedral, fine art museum, and the unique underground passages which wind under the city and can be accessed by a guided tour. There are also many cafes, restaurants, bars and shops to explore for a day out in the city. A new train route from Okehampton to Exeter offers an alternative stress free way of travelling to experience all that Exeter has to offer. For those looking for adventure during their stay, discover Dartmoor, which is renowned for its changing landscape, stunning views, deep wooded valleys with fast flowing rivers and rugged, wide open spaces. If golf is more your pursuit, the local golf course is only a 25 minute drive away. Enjoy indoor activities at Crediton Leisure Centre which offers a swimming pool and gym. Upon entering the front door of this character cottage, accessed by steps, you will find yourself in the open plan living and dining room, located on the first floor.
