Honeysuckle Cottage offers a cosy and comfortable rural retreat just outside Exeter, with guests praising its peaceful location, cleanliness, and welcoming hosts. The cottage is well-decorated and provides a relaxing atmosphere, with a woodburner and access to a fishing lake. While the WiFi and mobile signal are limited, many found this added to the charm. Some practical considerations include bringing your own essentials and being prepared for narrow country lanes. Overall, visitors enjoyed the tranquil setting and the opportunity to unwind in a beautiful countryside environment.

Most guests found the cottage very clean and well-presented, though one review mentioned dog mess outside on one occasion.

The rural setting close to Exeter was highly praised for its tranquillity and proximity to local attractions, though some noted the single-lane roads and remote feel.

Guests described the cottage as cosy and comfortable, with particular mention of comfortable beds and a good shower.

Facilities such as the woodburner and fishing lake were appreciated, but limited WiFi, mobile signal, and the need to bring basic supplies were noted as drawbacks.

The hosts were described as very welcoming and helpful, providing local tips and a warm reception. Please note that any gifts or special touches are not guaranteed.

A pleasant rural retreat with nature and the farming environment providing interest. Very well decorated and clean. Supermarkets in Exeter/ Newton Abbot will deliver here. The few local footpaths were well-signed.

Comfortable cottage in a rural working farm. Woodburner is great with all the logs you need supplied. Lovely fishing lake which you can access if you wish.Tip for future visitors, you need to take everything you need with you i.e toilet paper, tea , coffee, washing up liquid, laundry tablets, salt, pepper, foli, kitchen roll etc. Also, The pub Lamb Inn is closed, don't know where the nearest pub or restaurant is. You need to drive to the shops to get grocerys or get anyway. This was not a problem but is good to know.
