The Larches is tucked quietly away in the small but thriving town of Bampton. This historic Charter town, which lies close to the Somerset border, is on the edge of the Exmoor National Park and is famous for its floral displays and Charter Fair which is always the last Thursday in October. With four pubs within easy walking distance you won't have to worry about cooking at the end of a busy day!  The town also boasts two grocery stores, a bakery, a local butcher, greengrocers, pharmacy, post office, library, café, fish bar and even a beautiful homeware shop just meters from the front door!

Bampton is just a short drive from the harbour at Watchet and the sandy beach at Minehead making it the perfect place from which to explore the coast and countryside.  For the keen cyclist, the West Country Way cycle route takes in Bampton and on into the Exmoor National Park, a unique landscape of moorland, woodland, valleys and farmland.
