Hollacombe Lodge is an impressive Canadian-style, detached lodge. Sat on the edge of a privately owned fishing lake, it has wonderful views from all the key rooms down the entire length of the lake. It has been thoughtfully furnished with both bedrooms benefitting from large zip and link beds along with en-suite shower rooms. There is a lovely covered patio area which is ideal for sitting out to watch the fish and wildlife around the lake, (license required for fishing) and to the side of the lodge there is a lawned garden. Hollacombe Lodge is situated at Hollacombe Hamlets, just outside the bustling town of Crediton. Crediton has a great range of local shops and eateries as well has having a good range of bigger shops and amenities. Exeter is also within easy travelling distance with it’s cathedral, underground tunnels and extensive shopping areas which are all worth a visit.

During your stay, there is much to see and do, the National Trust properties at Arlington, Castle Drogo and Knighthayes are worth a visit. It is within easy reach of the southern tip of Exmoor or the northern end of Dartmoor and the RHS gardens at Rosemoor make for a great day out. The beaches of both South and North Devon, including Woolacombe and Croyde can be reached with relative ease. There is the Quince Honey Farm at South Molton also nearby. Beach 28 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 2¼ miles.
