Unfortunately the cottage was not very clean and I think it was time for redecoration at least. The bathroom was not clean and a large spider had been nesting in it for a long time. The towel hooks were too small to hang a bath towel on, so they fell on the floor! The sofa was very dirty and the other two armchairs were recliners and not comfortable for reading. The kitchen was sparsely equipped ( no cafetiere or teapot). I chose the single room, but then found the next morning, the curtain rail was hanging off (I later found the bracket was in the chest of drawers!) so I was left hoping it wouldn't fall down. There were no house instructions as far as I could see, for internet pasword or information on disposal of rubbish or recycling. The accommodation was in same house as the hosts but with a separate entrance and there was no private place to sit outside in the sun. It was a bit disappointing and I left early.

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy cottage. From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcome—the host was friendly and thoughtful, and his dog was an absolute delight. The cottage itself was comfortable, charming, and perfectly set up for a relaxing getaway. We especially loved the peace and tranquility of the surroundings; it was the perfect place to unwind and recharge. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would happily return.
