Home Farm Cottage in Devon is consistently praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and beautiful garden. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, the conservatory, and the property's peaceful location. The proximity to local amenities, pubs, and scenic walks, including the Tarka Trail, adds to its charm. The cottage is also noted for being dog-friendly with secure gardens and nearby walking areas.
Guests frequently mention the property's cleanliness, describing it as 'clean and comfortable' and 'clean on arrival', indicating a high standard of cleanliness throughout the cottage.
The location is highly regarded for its convenience, with easy access to pubs, shops, and scenic walks. Its proximity to the estuary, Tarka Trail, and beaches like Instow and Woolacombe Bay is a highlight for guests.
The cottage is repeatedly described as comfortable, with a 'home from home' feel. The conservatory and garden are particular comforts, although one mention of a less comfortable single bed slightly impacts the score.
Facilities are generally well-received, with mentions of a well-equipped kitchen and additional amenities like Netflix and Prime Video. However, a temperamental hob and an issue with a shower suggest some room for improvement in maintenance.
While the reviews reflect a positive experience, there are no specific mentions of gifts or special touches that would fall under 'thoughtfulness'. Therefore, this score cannot be provided.

Clean on arrival. Comfortable traditional cottage with lovely gardens and a sunny conservatory. Great for dogs with Instow beach 5 minute's drive and a field only 5 minute's walk down footpath from cottage. Everything you need for self catering stay. Our son is stationed at Chivoner so will be back again sometime soon.

Well furnished with everything you need for a self catering holiday. The conservatory is a real bonus and the cottage in general is nicer in practice than the pictures. Clean and welcoming on arrival. Great location to explore North Devon. Ideal for our small dog with walks available directly from the cottage down a shot path into open field with nice views and dog friendly instow beach just a short drive away. Shops , pubs and chippy all within walking distance. Looking to go again later in the year.
