The bustling port towns of Barnstaple and Bideford (both within 8 miles) offer a range of dog- and family-friendly shops, pubs and eateries. The bustling quayside of Appledore and the sprawling beaches at Westward Ho! Saunton Sands and Woolacombe (all within 20 miles) offer fantastic days out and are surrounded by vibrant village communities.
