Within a short drive of some of the most popular golden sandy surfing beaches in the country including Woolacombe, Croyde and Saunton, there is much to see and do. Nearby villages and towns include Ifracombe, Lynton and Lynmouth with their traditional harbours, inns and fishing trips. From, Ilfracombe you can enjoy a day trip to Lundy Island, or explore such attractions as National Trust Arlington Court, Marwood Gardens, Watermouth Castle and The Valley of the Rocks. Walkers will enjoy exploring the countryside around the property. Exmoor National Park, famed for its beauty and wildlife, is nearby. The town of Barnstaple has a range of leisure facilities including swimming pool, tennis, indoor ski slope, theatre and a cinema.

On entering this lovely single-storey cottage, which has traditional exposed beams and oak flooring throughout, you will find yourself in the spacious and welcoming lounge, with traditional wood burner (first basket of logs included), smart TV/DVD, hi-fi and patio doors which lead out on the furnished patio area. Heading into the attractive and elegant kitchen/diner, which is accessed via one step up from the lounge, you will find everything you might need including Range oven with electric oven and gas hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave. The washing machine and tumble-dryer is located inside a separate cupboard. Exploring further you will find two comfy bedrooms. There’s a comfortable king-size with TV/DVD and en-suite bathroom complete with shower over the bath and WC. And there’s a cosy zip-and-link twin (which can be made into a king-size on request at booking) also with smart TV/DVD and an en-suite shower room complete with WC.

Stepping outside you can relax in the large fully enclosed garden and unwind in the charming patio area with BBQ and views over the countryside.
