Huge thanks to Sheena and Derek.Little Gubbs was perfect for our requirements.Secluded and quiet, with everything we wanted within 30 mins.Beaches, walking trails, pubs, shops, restaurants etc....We are busy people with stressy lives, we booked little gubbs last minute to get a reset from life, the fact that it's on a no through road with little to no traffic and noise was perfect. Little Gubbs was well enough equipped for all our needs.We hope to be back, if its available when we are able.Another lovely touch, was a full, i mean huge homemade lemon drizzle cake made, i believe made by Sheena's fair hands. We ate the lot, at one point we had some for breakfast.Also, the wine... thanks for the wine upon arrival, this was welcomed after a 5 hour drive.Sheena and Derek made us feel very welcome and were on hand with a call/text or by a ring of a bell should we have needed anything or had any questiions.This may sound daft, but i found myself standing at the kitchen window for at one point over an hour watching all varietys of birds feeding at the very well placed bird feeder! We had a wonderful stay ay Little Gubbs the accommodation was clean comfortable and welcoming . The location was great for exploring the wonderful beaches of North Devon and the beauty of Exmoor. Thank you to the hosts Derek and Sheena for the very tasty lemon drizzle cake and for keeping the bird feeder well stocked allowing us to marvel at the variety of birds it attracted. The property is easily accessed and secluded, it had great parking and a lovely enclosed private garden area with garden furniture. We look forward to returning !!!
