The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is a sociable area where you can cook and eat a home-cooked meal together or simply snuggle up on the sofa watching your favourite shows. Enjoy a glass of wine at the dining table while admiring the far-reaching coastal views from the window. For some shuteye, head through to the super-king-size bedroom. Outside is a shared lawn area with benches, and a gate that offers direct access to the beach.
Croyde itself is a popular village with shops, restaurants and pubs. Try out surfing at the surf school on the beach, or take a stroll along the South West Coast Path which meanders through the village and cusps the dramatic coastline of this part of the county. Other nearby beaches worth a visit are Woolacombe or Saunton Sands, both 5 miles, or it’s 10 miles to Ilfracombe. Head inland to Braunton (5 miles) for further shops and restaurants, where you can also access the Tarka Trail, a long-distance and traffic-free walking and cycling route through the county’s beautiful countryside.
