We really enjoyed staying at the cottage, which was in a great location (very peaceful) and had amazing views. Considering the remoteness of the location, the television, internet and water supply were really good, better than we have experienced elsewhere. The hot tub was a very good place to enjoy.... We were blessed with beautiful weather which always helps! The Hen House was just as we expected but slightly better. Clean and comfortable, just perfect for two. The owners were friendly and helpful. Deck with sun loungers and hot tub added to our holiday experience. The quiet countryside and frien.... From the moment we arrived at the Hen House at Accott Manor, we felt at home. Beautiful setting, the whole property is impressive, well kept and looks stunning. The Hen House is completely private, a beautiful self contained cottage, with private access, well set out, equipped with literally everyt.... From the moment we arrived at the Hen House at Accott Manor, we felt at home. Beautiful setting, the whole property is impressive, well kept and looks stunning. The Hen House is completely private, a beautiful self contained cottage, with private access, well set out, equipped with literally everything we needed and more. The large terrace with dining furniture, loungers and hot tub is lovely and looks out over gorgeous views, with chilled out cows grazing throughout the day - I loved watching them. The owners Kath and Shawn, have got their approach spot on in my opinion -they are two lovely people who are there if you need them but never intrude on privacy. They are so accommodating and the freshly baked scones, cream and preserve were lovely. We had a fantastic week and this is a perfect spot for seeing everything North Devon has to offer. We spent time on some glorious beaches (Woolacombe, Saunton, Croyde among others), we spent lots of time up and down Exmoor - a beautiful wilderness - and visited Lynmouth and Lynton, Valley of Rocks, Baggy Point, and ventured over to West Somerset to Porlock and even a trip down memory lane to Minehead! We had a great week and would absolutely book again. Thanks Shawn and Kath for sharing your beautiful property.
