In addition, the sheer length of the beach means there is no shortage of golden sand on which to sit down and relax during the summer and there is also a seasonal beach shop and café providing refreshments. 2 miles away is the surfers’ paradise, Croyde which has a range of really good pubs and eateries as well as a fantastic ice cream shop. Further afield is the vibrant village of Braunton (4 miles) or the iconic seaside town of Ilfracombe (9 miles) with its harbour, aquarium and seafront offering a wealth of things to do.
