As you step inside, you’re greeted by a cosy and inviting interior, thoughtfully designed to provide a boutique stay for you and your loved ones. Featuring spacious bedrooms ensuring a restful night’s sleep. The well-equipped kitchen means you to can prepare delightful meals for your family and friends.
Two large double bedrooms with en-suites occupy the ground floor. Upstairs boasts an open plan living space with doors leading to the outside south facing ( private ) garden and hot tub for 4 ( private ) with steps leading to raised communal gardens that command terrific views of the North Devon Coastline and Exmoor National Park.
Two dogs are welcome ( please keep off the furniture ) and there is a designated dog shower outside.
You can have a day out on Lundy Island, go diving or take a trip on the Ilfracombe Princess and see seals, porpoises and sea birds nesting on the cliffs. Try your hand at sea fishing on Blue Fin or take an exhilarating tour of the amazing coastline on the Ilfracombe Sea Safari or on the Hampshire Rose, a former rnli Lifeboat.
This area plays host to world class beaches including Saunton Sands, Woolacombe and Croyde – all of which are famous for their surfing and vast stretches of golden sand. The Byre and The Shippon can be booked together to accommodate up to 12 guests.

Lovely, clean, well equipped property. Comfortable beds and great showers. Owners very pleasant and amenable. Welcome pack of bread, butter and home made brownies a nice touch. Location a little out of the way local pubs a little too far to walk along narrow single track roads, although the owners kindly offer to collect you if you choose to go. Need a car to get around, Ilfracombe 15 minutes by car, Woolacombe a little longer. Neat private courtyard garden with small hot tub. Good base for exploring the local area.

A fantastic property and so well equipped in such a peaceful location. Everything is provided and to an excellent standard. One of the best properties that we have stayed in.The hosts were excellent and so helpful throughout our stay. I would really like to return soon.
