Better than I was expecting. Information from Jen before arrival was spot on as sat nav was not to be used . Very clean and comfortable in a great location. Very pleased with my stay .

A short walk to all amenities which is always a bonus. The property was perfect for us. We had perfect weather and sat outside on the various seating around Fern Cottage. Quiet as situated on its own down from the Apartments. An annual break on Exmoor and have never been in June before. We would recommend this property and hopefully will return.

It wasnât as clean as weâd have hoped - dusty skirtings and sockets, a lot of cobwebs and the floor would benefit from a good mopping. We had to keep footwear on! Also, the bathroom mixer tap leaks - presumably for some time now as itâs affected the bathroom door frame. After a 5.5 hour drive weâd have loved a cup of tea on arrival but there was no welcome hamper at all so it was straight out to source a pint of milk without knowing the location of local amenities. Weâd also have benefited from a guest book documenting previous guest experiences/recommendations for days out and eateries, along with some general information about the area. This was lacking.
