Woolacombe Beach, 1.5 miles away is renowned for its 3-mile-long stretch of sand, is also a surfer’s paradise. Other beautiful beaches nearby include Croyde, 5.5 miles away, and Saunton Sands, 8 miles away. Venture into Woolacombe to browse in the colourful shops and grab a bite to eat. Head to Ilfracombe, 5.5 miles away, or Braunton, 7 miles away, for a broader selection of outlets. Stroll along the South West Coast Path for fabulous sea views and if lucky you may spot seals. Follow a circular walking route of just over 2 miles from Mortehoe to Morte Point.
