Guests say

Marsh Cottage is highly praised for its cleanliness, secure garden, and peaceful location, ideal for both dogs and nature lovers. The property offers a comfortable stay with well-equipped facilities and thoughtful touches, although Wi-Fi is absent and some guests noted the access track needs improvement. The tranquil setting and wildlife, along with the proximity to local amenities and attractions, make it a favoured choice for a Devon holiday.

Guests consistently describe the cottage as clean and tidy, indicating high standards of cleanliness throughout the property.

The location is appreciated for its tranquility and proximity to local attractions, though some guests mention the access track is rough and could be improved.

The cottage is generally found to be comfortable and well-equipped. However, a few guests suggest that the living room seating could be more comfortable, impacting the overall comfort score.

Facilities are deemed good, with a well-equipped kitchen and secure garden. The lack of Wi-Fi and comments about the access road condition slightly lower the score.

Several reviews mention thoughtful touches such as a welcome tray with tea and cake. While these gestures are appreciated, they are not guaranteed for every stay.

Situated down a farm track it has all the basics you would need to have a lovely time. I would happy stay again.

Facilities were great, kitchen was really good, everything you could need. Only drawback was the seating in the sitting room, very uncomfortable chairs, but apart from that we had a great stay, very clean and beds were comfortable. The garden is great for dogs and we have an escapologist who could not find a way out despite his best efforts. Would happily stay here again. Hosts were great and dropped everything when we had a problem( only one) and came to sort it out within 15 minutes. Central to everything.

Our dogs enjoyed the enclosed garden. Ideal location for dog walking.
