We stayed here for Christmas as we're renovating our house and have no kitchen. First impression when we walked in was WOW! We stayed in lodge 1 and the views were absolutely stunning. The lodge was huge and had the most comfy sofas. Everything was really clean and there was a Christmas card, mince pies, biscuits, crisps and a bottle left for us which was a lovely gesture and very much appreciated. The hot tub was really nice and the staff who checked it twice a day were not intrusive at all and gave us a little wave as they passed by. The only slight niggle was the potato peeler wasn't much use and the knives weren't very sharp but then most people probably don't go away and cook a full Christmas lunch! All in all we had a fantastic time and will definitely return. Would love to come back when it's a bit warmer so we ca sit on the decking and really appreciate the views.

The lodge was a beautiful big bright space for the whole family. The hot tub was a great feature and very private. We had a problem with the heating on the first day (wouldn’t come on, then came on in the night). One of the toilets didn’t flush properly. Otherwise was a brilliant lodge.

Perfect, I can't fault anything with the lodge. Bright, clean and fully loaded with all the mod cons. The hot tub was new and amazing, went up to 40 degrees which is perfect temperature.
