...private with great views in relaxing surroundings. Convenient for walks and 3 pubs/restaurants nearby (easy to walk to if reasonably fit; between 1 and 2 miles distance. Bungalow interior was very light and spacious, well equipped with an excellent layout and high level of comfort. While the accommodation was very good it was slightly let down by a somewhat overgrown garden which, if tended would be stunning, as there are a lot of attractive shrubs and plants. ...decking is amazing and the garden is just the right size for young children. The property is tucked away up a quiet road, but within an easy drive of the beach. We enjoyed the peace and tranquillity of the place, rural but within a short driving distance of a local pub and good village shop. There is a farm shop within a five minute walking distance - lovely cream teas and a great view! We know the area well and felt that it was well located for visiting Modbury, Totnes and Salcombe. Our children and the dog enjoyed going to Bigbury beach and walking across the sand to visit Burgh Island. The weather was a really bonus! Submitted by Denise on 18/08/2014
