Completing the ground-floor is a handy cupboard under the stairs which houses a washer/dryer, perfect for keeping your holiday wardrobe fresh. Climb the stairs to the first floor where you will find a delightful seating area, ideal for snuggling up with a good book. When sleep calls, climb into one of two sumptuous double beds to catch your rest in. In the morning, wake-up with a refreshing shower, before rustling up morning coffees ready to enjoy up on the first-floor patio, well-known for being a sun trap on warmer days! Explore the thriving town, where you will be spoilt for choice for things to do, with an excellent selection of pubs and restaurants on offer, including the popular Seahorse where you can savour fresh seafood whilst soaking in the views of the River Dart. Budding historians will be in their element, with the 17th-century Dartmouth Museum, the 16th-century Bayard’s Cove and the superb 14th-century Dartmouth Castle with on-site tearoom so you can pick-up a sweet treat afterwards! Keen walkers will be sure to get their steps in with the scenic South West Coast Path right on your doorstep, spanning for 630-miles and ending in Dorset. If you’re looking for a day at the beach, be sure to visit the award-winning Blue Flag Blackpool Sands, where you can bathe, try your hand at rafting and kayaking or beachcombe the shores before grabbing a light bite at The Venus Café.
