It offers a stunning waterfront, ancient narrow streets lined with boutique shops, restaurants and art galleries plus many local events such as the annual Dart Music Festival and the Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta, along with the Dartmouth Food Festival held every October. There are many interesting cycling and walking routes around Dartmouth, including the South West Coast Path, the Dart Valley Trail and plenty of quiet country lanes. A trip on the Dartmouth Steam Railway through picturesque countryside to Paignton is a must, and so is a boat trip across to Kingswear and on to Brixham, a pretty little harbour town. Very nice to be able to wonder down to the town and walk to the castle etc. Having a parking pace was also a great asset. We will be back.

Loved it from the moment we walked through the door. The Christmas tree was a lovely touch as was the hamper and cream tea. The house had everything for preparing a Christmas dinner (could have done with oven gloves) with ease. We had a great Christmas and New Year and would have booked again for this year but it is already booked and I can see why.

It was much better than we hoped. They have updated the decor and furniture in most rooms to a high standard. It was home from home for us and they had everything we needed to make it an enjoyable and relaxing experience. I highly recommend staying here. The house is within easy reach of the town and the allocated parking space a stones throw away and even with a second car we managed to find street parking not too far away. We also received several little welcome packages including a delicious cream tea which we all thoroughly enjoyed. Thankyou!
