The property lies just a short walk from the heart of Dartmouth, with a stroll down one road bringing you right on the harbour front and next to Darmouth Museum where you can brush up on the history of the town. Enjoy a self-guided walking tour around the town, visiting Bayard's Cove Fort dating back to the 16th century, and continuing along the river to Dartmouth Castle, a 14th century fortress standing watch over the estuary, with some spectacular views to enjoy from here.

Back in the town the Royal Avenue Gardens provide a lovely spot for a picnic, while there are also plenty of eateries scattered along the streets to visit for excellent food, from cafés and delis, to restaurants and pubs, there's something for everyone. Browse the array of independent and local shops here, as well as the art galleries displaying lovely pictures and prints which make a great souvenir to bring home with you.
