The cottage was nice with lovey views except for the inside staircase. The first day our 12 year old dog fell down the staircase. It is varnished wood and quite slippery, the top is quite difficult to manage and would not be suitable for anyone with stability issues. There should be notifications on the reference of the property that it is not suitable for older people, small children or anyone with disabilities. We came home early after two days as I was worried about managing the staircase and my husband was concerned about myself and the dog.

We stayed here for 5 nights and it is a wonderful place to stay. It’s peaceful and beautiful. The house has been done so lovely inside and has everything you need. It’s in a perfect spot to get to see everything, we went to Brixham, Paignton, Torquay and our favourite was Dartmouth on the little car ferry. We took our dogs with us and they loved it, the garden and space for the dogs is brilliant, my daughter really loved staying there. We will definitely be back!!!

Enjoyed our stay. Everything we needed in the cottage was available. Location was great and so quiet. We were close to NT properties which was great as we are members and there was loads of walking. My only gripe was that on the Hoseasons website it was noted that the cottage had Sky however this was incorrect. There was only Freeview Play so could not get live TV unless signed into an app. For us this was not a big issue as we don’t watch much TV and we love to read.
