The communal entrance to Dartview offers two short flights of stairs up to the accommodation itself. The open-plan living accommodation (kitchen/sitting/dining room) is bright and airy, boasting stunning views. The modern kitchen is well equipped, and includes an electric fan oven, grill and four ring hob, fridge, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. The sitting/dining area is comfortably furnished with cosy sofas, Freeview TV/DVD unit, and a glass-topped dining table in front of the bay window. The property has two bedrooms in total. The master bedroom has a double bed and en suite shower room, and the second bedroom has full size bunk beds (available on request only). Additionally, there is a further bathroom with bath and overhead shower. Guests enjoy a parking permit for one car during their stay.
Dartmouth lies on the banks of the beautiful River Dart in the popular and picturesque South Hams area of South Devon. Located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and close to the stunning Start Bay coastline, Dartmouth is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Devon. It offers a stunning waterfront, ancient narrow streets lined with boutique shops, restaurants and art galleries plus many popular events such as the annual Dart Music Festival, Dartmouth Food Festival and the Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta. This historic town boasts interesting landmarks, such as Dartmouth Castle, the Britannia Royal Naval College, and the National Trust’s Greenway House just a short ferry ride away. There are many interesting cycling and walking routes around Dartmouth, including the South West Coast Path, the Dart Valley Trail and plenty of quiet country lanes. A trip on the Dartmouth Steam Railway through the rolling countryside to Paignton is a must, and so is a boat or ferry trip across to Kingswear, on to Brixham, or down the river to the village of Dittisham. For those seeking sandy beaches, there is a wide choice in the South Hams area such as Blackpool Sands and Slapton Sands, both extremely popular beaches just a stone's throw from Dartmouth.
