Blachford Hall was built in 1905 as a Mission Hall. The present owners have lovingly transformed this characterful property into a luxurious well equipped holiday home for 4 guests. This two bed Moorland retreat is in ‘old’ Ivybridge in a stunning location on the fringe of the Dartmoor National Park.

Think boutique luxury and you’ve hit the nail on the head. Soft bedding, beautiful furniture and fabulous bathrooms. Blachford Hall is packed with period features - stone walls, stained glass windows, beamed vaulted ceilings and galleried landings are a nod to the former Mission Hall, but lounge on the comfortable sofas, connect to the WiFi or create a masterpiece in the kitchen and you’re left wanting for nothing.

This two bedroom period property will accommodate 4, there’s also a travel cot should you need one. A fabulous and unique holiday home nestled on the southern edge of Dartmoor, Ivybridge is known as the gateway to the moor and is home to privately run shops with bakers, butchers, delicatessen, green grocer, fishmonger, pubs and cafes.

Get out and about and explore the coastal towns of Salcombe and Dartmouth. The maritime city of Plymouth is about 15 minutes drive - head to the Hoe, climb up Smeaton’s Tower and take a dip in the fabulous salt water swimming pool. The historical Barbican has some lovely waterfront pubs and cafes, cross the footbridge to the National Marine Aquarium. Alternatively if you’re looking for a little retail therapy, the city centre is just a short walk away.

Facilities and services: WiFi connection available. Coast approx 10 miles. Countryside views. Bedlinen and towels provided (beach towels not provided). Arr/dep for weekly bookings is Saturday.
