Just a short drive away you’ll also find the beaches of Bantham, Thurlestone and South Milton Sands along with many others in the area including Burg Island that has a sea tractor to get to the pub. Closeby lies Challaborough Beach, offering a sheltered horseshoe cove backed by rugged cliffs, providing many great walks. For a change of scenery, the nearby towns of Modbury and Kingsbridge offer a choice of restaurants, supermarkets and a cinema, providing entertainment for an afternoon.
