This is a stunning ground and first floor duplex apartment, situated in the centre of Kingswear, next to the Church and The Ship Inn, and opposite the steam railway station and car passenger ferries to Dartmouth. The views from the property are fabulous, looking out across the river and boats to Dartmouth and the Naval Collage, as well as views down the river and to the church opposite. This is a vibrant location, great for people watching, with steam trains arriving with passengers en route for the ferries across Dartmouth, and the regular “clang” as the car ferry lowers the ramp the slipway nearby. Opposite Mainstay is the historic Ship Inn, with its terrace being the perfect place to enjoy a drink as the sun goes down. At times this can be a bustling location, but it's fun, and you couldn't wish for a more convenient situation. There are regular ferries from Dartmouth to Dittisham, where you can find Agatha Christies Greenway House, now owned by the National Trust. There are many wonderful walks starting from your doorstep, with the property situated only a few yards form the South West Coastal Path, If you are feeling fit, take the stunning coast path to the National Trust Coleton Fishacre Art Deco House and Gardens, or walk alongside the River Dart to Greenway House and catch the ferry back after a pint at the Ferry Boat Inn at Dittisham.
