Set in the most wonderful location, this three bedroomed apartment sits right on the waters edge and in the epicentre of Salcombe. The panoramic views over the estuary from the open plan living space are sensational, and the perfect place from which to take in the twinkling emerald waters, sandy beaches and action on the water.

Combined with a running mooring, a shared swimming pool and the Salcombe Finest treatment, you will experience a truly wonderful holiday.

Set in the most wonderful central location, The Salcombe (formerly The Salcombe Hotel), has over 325ft of estuary frontage, so you will undoubtedly enjoy the stunning panoramic views up and down the harbour. The development has various communal facilities for guests including beautiful and luscious private gardens, an outdoor heated swimming pool and a children’s pool (in operation Spring Bank Holiday to end September).

46 The Salcombe is a prestigious penthouse apartment sitting at the top of the development (don’t worry, there is a lift for carrying up luggage and wine!) and has a private car parking space and a mooring on the private pontoon – just perfect for enjoying days on the water and exploring the sandy beaches.

Entering into the reception from the parking area, you can take the lift or stairs up to the 4th floor to find the apartment. The vaulted open plan kitchen and sitting area has spectacular 180 degree views, and is the perfect place from which to take in the twinkling emerald waters, sandy beaches and action on the water. The kitchen area is fully fitted with electric hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher.

There are sliding glass doors to two balconies (one with a small balcony with seating for 3-4 people, and the other a Juliette balcony). Both have magnificent views which are hard to beat in the whole of Salcombe.

Three bedrooms make up the rest of the apartment, and each have their own television. The master bedroom has a super king bed and en suite shower room. The second bedroom has a comfortable double bed and the third bedroom is a twin. These two bedrooms share a family bathroom with a bath and a shower over the bath.

The swimming pools are in operation from 29th April to the end of September. Pool open 08:00-20:00, is unattended, guests are responsible for the safety of themselves and their children.

One mooring per apartment on private pontoon for dinghy, with overall length (including outboard) of 5m.

The shared grounds/public area around Salcombe Apartments has a low wall of 60cm therefore children must be supervised by an adult at all times.

With regret, no children under 8.

No smoking.

No pets allowed.

There is also a restaurant within the building.

    We had a lovely stay and what a fantastic view having spent a great deal of time watching the boats go up and down! Easy access all clean and tidy beds very comfy heating good kitchen well equipped in fact all tiptop definitely a 5* . Hopefully we will return.

    We have stayed in a number of apartments in The Salcombe and this has been the best. The apartment is lovely, spacious ( accommodated 5 of us comfortably), well appointed and well equipped. As we were staying there particularly for Merlin Regatta Week - it was a perfect place to be for watching the racing so much so that we have booked again for next year.
