Ringrone is an historic property (now comprising seven apartments) set in its own mature grounds and positioned at the mouth of the estuary with magnificent views of the estuary and coastline to Prawle Point. Adjacent is the beautiful S.W. Coastal Path to Bolt Head, and the sub-tropical gardens at Overbecks, both owned by the National Trust. South Sands beach, popular for watersports, is within a quarter of a mile, and the town centre is approx 2 miles via the picturesque cliff and coast road. Also, a regular passenger ferry service runs from South Sands to the town centre during the summer.
Situated on the ground floor, facing the water, this spacious apartment retains the original high ceilings and features of the building. There are particularly lovely views from the magnificent living room.
These properties are rural, with access via country lanes, with a 20-30-minute walk to the local town.

Lovely holiday base, really well appointed on the hill looking over South Sands. Access by car can be difficult, getting to South Sands and getting into the Ringrone driveway is very tight. Interior is really dated, reminded me of the seventies, though kitchen has been updated and is very modern. A bit of history about the house would have been nice, who built it and when etc and somebody please chuck out all the old magazines…dated early 2000! A better welcome pack would be good, coffee, biscuits, tea, bottle of wine, some beers, orange juice!! The salt and pepper grinders were disgusting so didn’t use!A discount voucher for the South Sands Hotel would be good!

For us the apartment was excellent for a short break. The location is amazing with wonderful views & direct access to the South West Coast path. The apartment itself is huge, and although renovated but certainly maintained the original character. I would definitely love to go back, maybe in the warmer months to enjoy this beautiful corner of Devon.
