Coombe Park is a recently refurbished 200 year old farmhouse set in beautiful and spacious four acres grounds in the charming rural village of Chillington. Situated up a long quiet private lane slightly away from the village, this delightful retreat nestles on the hillside and offers everything you would ever need for a family or group holiday. The grounds include woodland areas, a south facing patio, and private heated swimming pool. The unique location of the farmhouse gives the feeling of being away from it all, yet still being only a level ½ mile walk to the village pub and shop. This house is light, spacious and provides a perfect place to relax and appreciate the wonderful countryside views seen through most windows.

Outside: Four acres of grounds including stunning woodland, land with adjacent stream and large paddock. Front patio with bench and table, enclosed garden and outdoor swimming pool (solar heated) with terrace area and garden furniture.

Coombe Park is a 200 year old farmhouse set in beautiful and spacious grounds in the Devon village of Chillington. Situated up a long quiet private lane slightly away from the village, this large retreat offers everything you would ever need for a family or group holiday. Although it is only a 2½ mile trip to the simply stunning Slapton Sands beach, for the days you want to avoid using the car, you can explore the four acres of grounds including woodland areas which provide a great place for walks and for the kids to run off some steam. The south facing patio, private heated swimming pool and the lower barn having table tennis and table football tables which add more than enough entertainment to be had by people of all ages. The unique location of the farmhouse also means there is a real feeling of being secluded and away from it all, yet still being only a level ½ mile walk to the village pub and shop. The house is light, spacious and provides a perfect place to relax and appreciate the wonderful countryside views seen through most windows. Perfect for group breaks at all times of the year.

  • The heated swimming pool (from 3ft to 6ft 6in deep) is only open from the beginning of May until the end of September. dogs must NOT BE allowed into THE pool
  • The Rayburn is alight all year except for June, July, August and the first two weeks of September.

    Four acres of interesting grounds surround the house including stunning woodland, land with adjacent stream and a large paddock. If this isn’t enough, there is also a front patio with bench and table which leads down steps to an enclosed garden and a rear outdoor heated swimming pool with terrace area, quality garden furniture and Weber barbecue and four sun loungers.

    FOR THE welfare OF your DOG AND your enjoyment OF THE pool, dogs must NOT BE allowed TO access THE pool AND WE suggest ARE kept OUT OF THE pool area.
