House always warm, didn't need to use the log burner. Will be returning and recommending to family.

The location is very quiet and peaceful and the comfortable cottage had everything I needed. It was a lovely surprise to have a cream tea awaiting after my journey! I had do some work, so appreciated the fast wifi. There lots of choice with sky TV for cosy evenings with the log burner, and some interesting books on the bookcase. The carefully annotated walk sheets were useful, I'll have to come back when the days are longer to explore some more of the local area. Linda and Paul live next door, and were very helpful when I had a minor maintenance issue. I would highly recommend this property.

It was warm and comfortable upon our arrival and this was the case everyday in the evening when we arrived back. The beds were comfortable and the hot shower was excellent. The kitchen facilities were excellent compared with others that we have stayed. The tv had a full range of Sky programmes with Netflix etc. A nice touch upon arrival the first day was scones, cream and jam. The light adjacent to the door didn't work however and we could not access the key safe when we departed the last day however. The light aspect was not notified to the owners however.
