The MK1 railway carriages date from the 1950’s and 1960’s and have recently been superbly renovated into desirable, boutique accommodation. Very mixed experience. The location was great. The carriage was nice, though needed a bit of a dusting. Full of cobwebs and spiders, and the bathroom window was broken. I sent them some general feedback for improvement on Facebook and they came back with with a very dismissive response. Just telling me how wrong I was. It put me off returning. Shame.

A lovely place. Bit short on restaurants near, think children would be bored after a week. Especially if weather is keeping them indoors.Some games provided but children soon get bored of themGreat place for train spotters. Lovely fish shop and Chinese takeaway near but be warned not everywhere takes card some cash only
