Olchard Lodge has everything you could want for a romantic getaway or just a relaxing stay away without all the worries and stresses of everyday life. Unpack your bags after parking up directly outside the lodge in your own private parking area and make your way through the beautiful oak stable door. As you enter the lodge, you find yourself in the entrance hallway where immediately you get the feeling of open space as you make your way into the open plan living area which is flooded with light. The kitchen is well equipped with great quality appliances including a coffee machine and wine cooler to store your bottles of wine, before heading into the hot tub. The living and dining area is both comfortable and cosy, a great area to sit in front of the wall mounted Smart TV while the wood burner is glowing next to you. From here there are large sliding doors leading out onto the patio area with seating and lovely countryside views. Just around the corner, perfectly sheltered, is the private hot tub where you can relax until your hearts content. Back into the property and on the opposite side of the lodge is the bedroom containing your comfortable kingsize bed for a great night’s sleep with access to the bathroom, with large walk in shower. A bathrobe for each guest along with The White Company towels are provided.
Olchard lodge is situated in the grounds of the owners property in the semi-rural area of Newton Abbot named Olchard, and is very close to Dartmoor National Park. There area some fantastic pubs and restaurants not too far away where you can enjoy some refreshments or have a meal. The lodge is just a few minutes drive from the access roads leading up to the city of Exeter or to the local nearby towns such as Shaldon and Teignmouth. Venture a little further and explore the English Riviera of Paignton, Torquay and Brixham or any other part of the beautiful South Hams, whether that be Dartmouth or Salcombe. Whatever you choose to do, Olchard Lodge is a great place to start. Beach 7.3 miles.

We absolutely loved our stay at the lodge. It is beautifully private and peaceful, with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable break. The lodge is modern, superbly equipped, and very well thought out — it really does have all the amenities you could ask for.The hot tub was amazing, especially with the covered area, which meant we could enjoy relaxing evenings outside in complete privacy. It became one of our favourite parts of the stay.The location is also perfect for visiting the surrounding areas. Paignton, Torquay, and other lovely places are all within around 20–25 minutes, making it really easy to get out and explore. After a day out, it was lovely knowing we were only a short drive away from being back at the lodge.The hosts were superb, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay from start to finish. If we visit this area again, we would definitely book here again. Well worth five stars.

Excellent lodge. We stayed for 3 nights to celebrate our Anniversary, and this was a perfect setting to do so. The lodge was beautifully presented, superb finishing throughout and thoughtfulness put into all the extras you would need to make you feel at home. We loved the welcome hamper and the useful local area information. The hot tub was very welcome after busy days exploring around the area. We had clear communication with the hosts before and during our stay and it really did feel like they wanted their guests to enjoy the lodge and nothing was too much trouble. Already looking to return! Thank you for sharing Olchard Lodge with us.

Well where do I start. This place is amazing! My husband is disabled and this stunning and comfortable lodge was perfect for our short holiday. We was met upon arrival by Kirsten who is such a lovely, welcoming lady. Nothing was too much trouble to meet our needs. The Lodge is beautiful inside, clean and modern. Set in a beautiful and peaceful location. The welcome pack with local attraction details was such a lovely thought. The attention to detail is 2nd to none. Despite the weather not being the best we still had such an amazing stay at this stunning Lodge. Thankyou Kirsten and Simon for making us feel like a v.i.pWe will definitely be back.
