Air source heat pump (underfloor), electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial logs are provided, remainder can be purchased or locally available. Welcome pack. Front garden with patio and garden furniture. Decked area. Hot tub for 4 (private). Private parking for 1 car. No smoking.. Olchard Lodge has everything you could want for a romantic getaway or just a relaxing stay away without all the worries and stresses of everyday life. Unpack your bags after parking up directly outside the lodge in your own private parking area and make your way through the beautiful oak stable door. As you enter the lodge, you find yourself in the entrance hallway where immediately you get the feeling of open space as you make your way into the open plan living area which is flooded with light. The kitchen is well equipped with great quality appliances including a coffee machine and wine cooler to store your bottles of wine, before heading into the hot tub. The living and dining area is both comfortable and cosy, a great area to sit in front of the wall mounted Smart TV while the wood burner is glowing next to you. From here there are large sliding doors leading out onto the patio area with seating and lovely countryside views. Just around the corner, perfectly sheltered, is the private hot tub where you can relax until your hearts content. Back into the property and on the opposite side of the lodge is the bedroom containing your comfortable kingsize bed for a great night’s sleep with access to the bathroom, with large walk in shower. A bathrobe for each guest along with The White Company towels are provided.
Olchard lodge is situated in the grounds of the owners property in the semi-rural area of Newton Abbot named Olchard, and is very close to Dartmoor National Park. There area some fantastic pubs and restaurants not too far away where you can enjoy some refreshments or have a meal. The lodge is just a few minutes drive from the access roads leading up to the city of Exeter or to the local nearby towns such as Shaldon and Teignmouth. Venture a little further and explore the English Riviera of Paignton, Torquay and Brixham or any other part of the beautiful South Hams, whether that be Dartmouth or Salcombe. Whatever you choose to do, Olchard Lodge is a great place to start. Beach 7.3 miles.

***AMAZING LODGE*** Our 3rd stay at this lovely lodge from8th to 12th December 2025. It was once again 10 out of 10 and just as amazing is our previous visits. Just an amazing place to stay, everything has been thought of. The welcome hamper with fresh scones, clotted cream and treats, as well as a bottle of milk on arrival is a really lovely touch. The Christmas tree and decorations also a love touch and make the lodge so Christmassy and cosy. You will always be provided with a big basket full of logs for the wood burner and kindling and fire lighters too, so no need to bring your own.Everything is so clean and tidy, the hot tub and lights outside are so nice and relaxing. Just an amazing place all round that you really will struggle to beat or find anything else better in my opinion. Highly recommend this lodge to anyone and the owners Kirsten & Simon are amazing and always on hand should you need anything at all. 10/10

Olchard lodge is a fantastic place to stay whether you need a complete hideaway or you want to visit the coastal areas .It’s totally private . The log fire makes it Cosy and the hot tub is amazing for relaxing at the end of the day . The lodge is well equipped and has everything you need . I can’t wait to return next year for another hideaway ! I Would recommend staying here to anyone it’s a firm favourite of mine .

We spent four perfect nights here. The lodge is spotlesly clean and so well presented with thoughtful extras and welcome basket. We had a lovey a mixture of evenings relaxing by the log burner, or being in the hot tub. We also enjoyed visiting the local area. I would recommend visiting Exeter Christmas market, and we did park and ride which made it even easier. We would definitely return and highly recommend booking a stay here.
