About this property
Tedburn St Mary 2.6 miles. Little Folley is a delightful single-storey lodge resting in Whitestone, Devon, featuring off-road parking, an open-plan living space, and a garden with a hot tub. Designed for two guests and welcoming one well-behaved pet, this appealing base places shared moments at the heart of a Devon break.
After parking, step inside and let the open-plan living space set the rhythm for your stay. Prepare breakfast in the kitchen using the oven and hob, warm an easy lunch in the microwave, or put the kettle on before settling into the sitting area. The dining area creates a natural place to share meals, map out the following day, or raise a glass to time spent together. As evening falls, switch on the television and enjoy an unhurried film before stepping outside.
The garden combines a patio and gravelled area, with furniture ready for drinks in the open air. Sink into the hot tub as daylight fades, then head indoors to freshen up beneath the walk-in shower. The double bedroom completes the lodge, offering a simple private space in which to end each day.
For local outings, begin in Exeter, where couples can admire Exeter Cathedral, explore the collections at the Royal Albert Memorial Museum, and wander along the historic quayside. A trip to Teignmouth brings sea air and coastal scenery, with a seafront promenade, the town’s Back Beach, and displays at Teign Heritage to discover. Dartmoor is also a rewarding choice for days shaped around open landscapes and walking routes.
Whether dipping into Devon’s heritage or returning for an evening beneath the open sky, make Little Folley the centre of your escape.
Tedburn St Mary lies amidst the rural charm of inland Devon, just 3 miles from the stunning Dartmoor National Park and 7.5 miles west of the cathedral city of Exeter.
