Teignmouth sits at the mouth of the River Teign and has two beaches. The Main Beach is perfect for swimming and sunbathing, and Back Beach is bustling with fishing boats, watersports, bars, pubs and restaurants offering fresh seafood or fish and chips. It is a wonderful place to sit and enjoy the fantastic views of the estuary and the fabulous sunsets. Teignmouth has good rail connections to London, Birmingham and Manchester.

It is a traditional seaside town with Georgian architecture, a Victorian pier, promenade, lido, bowls, skate park, an award-winning children’s play park and crazy golf. The Pavilions has regular theatre and cinema performances as well as a comedy club, dance and children’s activities.
