For a day out, visit the charming fishing village of Clovelly (under 15 miles), renowned for its steep cobbled streets and picturesque harbour. Perfectly positioned for privacy, this romantic retreat is designed for slowing down, unwinding and reconnecting with the natural world.

Inside, the lodge is arranged over two floors and features an inviting open-plan layout on the ground floor, combining the living area and kitchen into a sociable space for relaxing together. Sink into the comfortable seating after a day of adventures and enjoy your favourite programmes on the Smart TV, while double glazing and central heating ensure year-round comfort. Upstairs, the double bedroom offers a peaceful sanctuary and benefits from access to a private balcony where you can take in the woodland surroundings. The bathroom is fitted with a large walk-in shower, and bed linen, towels and duvets are all provided, with the bed made up and ready for your arrival.

Outside, the enclosed veranda enjoys views across the lake and surrounding woodland, creating a wonderful setting for morning coffees and evening drinks. A swing chair and electric BBQ provide opportunities to relax and dine outdoors, while the private hot tub is perfectly placed amongst the trees for a soothing soak immersed in nature. Guests can also enjoy free coarse and carp fishing across five stocked lakes on site, and a shared metered tumble dryer is available within the woodland retreat. Access to the lodge is via approximately 25 steps from the woodland retreating area, and steep cottage-style stairs connect the ground and first floors. High-speed fibre broadband is available throughout the estate, up to two pets are welcome, and all accommodation is strictly non-smoking.
