For a family getaway in a beautifully quaint destination, look no further than Phoenix Cottage. With original wooden floors and exposed beams, you’ll be able to enjoy a sense of this cottage’s history with the convenience of all the modern finishing touches you could want for a comfortable stay.
Inside, the cottage has a large and contemporary kitchen area equipped with everything needed to prepare a home cooked meal with your family. You can even step out into the courtyard and enjoy a bite to eat in the sunshine. If you fancy a lazy evening in front of the TV, the warm and inviting lounge has a flatscreen TV with Freeview, Blu-ray player and surround sound, plenty to keep you entertained.
On the first floor you will find three bright and comfortable bedrooms for you to rest your head at the end of a long day. The third bedroom has twin beds and is ideal for adults and children alike.
Phoenix Cottage is a Grade 2 listed building found in a conservation area and set in the centre of Appledore, a traditional Devonshire seaside village. With independent craft shops, quaint cafes and superb restaurants serving fresh local seafood all on your doorstep, you may not feel the need to venture further afield during your stay. If you do fancy a day of walking and seeing more of the beautiful local scenery, the South West Coast Path is just a stone’s throw from your front door.
